Back in ‘05, I fell in love with Cable Car. Everything about it makes it such a special song to me and basically gives the meaning to why I love them so much. The lyrics, (particularly my favorite, “I’d rather run the other way than stay and see the smoke and who’s still standing when it clears”) the bold and captivating piano, all the various dynamics and how they completely capture the essence of the song, and Micah Slade just happens to be especially adorable in the video. ;D When I got really into the band in ‘07, my love for Cable Car remained the strongest out of all their tracks up until today. :)
